Christian Fournier

Christian Founier was born in 1942, in the city of Lyon in France. At an early age, after having studied privately, he entered the School of Fine Art in Lyon. Concentrating primarily on (Portraiture and Landscapes), he gradually embarked on an artistic career in his home town of Lyon. He then went to Paris where he studied at the School of Fine Art. It was In Paris that he discovered his favourite painting subject: the atmosphere of the bars and the old city districts which he transcended by his handling of paint to give an effect of "vibrating colours ". He has held many exhibitions in countries including France, Germany, and the United States. |
