Christos Karamisaris

Was born in Thessaloniki in Greece, on the 19th of July on 1951. He began drawing and painting when young children of his age were mainly attracted to football. Christos Karamisaris is a self taught painter. As a young man, he left his native country to travel in Europe. His artistic and social experiences led him to Paris where he decided to settle. In 1979 he began work as a portraitist on Place du Tertre in Montmartre. In parallel, he continued to paint, draw and sculpt. Painting
His artistic activities include techniques such as pastels, oil painting and watercolours - for his own as well as others’ pleasure.
