Jadwiga Stasiak

Born in Chancza in Poland Jadwiga Stasiak first graduated from the Fine Art School in Lodz which she followed with studies at the Fine Art School in Paris, ( l'Ecole superieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris ).In Paris, she is involved in several diverse artistic activities. These include portraiture on Place du Tertre, the design of tapestries for the tapestry workshop Robert Four, as well as designing women's ready-to-wear clothing for Paris-Elegance.
Painting
As a portraitist Jadwiga works in pencil, charcoal and pastels producing life-like portraits. Her large oil paintings are abstract or figurative in composition with subject matters including nudes, landscapes and flowers.
