After having studied painting and publicity at the Paul Colin school, he worked as a designer in publicity for five years before starting work as an artst on Place du Tertre, in 1969.
Painting
Jean-Pierre Collin says: “My aim is to transform the figurative painting drastically, by eliminating as many details as possible, at the same time creating a great diversity of impressions with a few lines that I consider as the most important, and with just a few colors.”
Exhibitions
