Marek Waniek

Born in August 1944 in Ustrzyki, Poland In 1967 he obtained a diploma in Fine Art from the Sztuk Pieknych Academy in Cracow. In the same year he settled in Paris and began work as a portraitist on Place du Tertre. Through contacts with different galleries he has organized various exhibitions. From 1969 to 1997 his family life led him to Nice where he studied at the UPA Lumigny in Marseilles. This was followed by a profession as an Architect and Master of Works. In September of 1998 he returned to Paris and resumed work as a portraitist in Montmartre. |
