Born in Cracow in Poland, Marie Jolanne holds a diploma in engraving from the Fine Art School of Cracow. After numerous trips to Europe and elsewhere in the world, she brought her Slavic charm and her blue eyes to Montmartre in the 1980's and is now married to a Parisian.
Painting
Her perfect mastery of drawing and the composition of the subjects associated with a talent for color, allows her to produce watercolours marked by lightness and spontaneity. You find her smile in her watercolours animated by the passers by in the streets of Montmartre and Paris, but also an array of subjects using a talented combination of drawing and colour use which will enthrall you.
Exhibitions
Marie Jolanne has had personal exhibitions in Paris, Poland (Warsaw), USA, Austria, Norway, Italy (Florence) and Belgium (Brussels)She has also completed decorative frescos for the Paris Metro "Les Abbesses" and in a ski resort in the French Alpes "Les Carroz dfArraches".
